Resign indefinite rights of concessions

According to El Mercurio, there is such the urgency of the Government -due to the high levels of unemployment in the south of Chile, especially in the regions of Los Lagos and Aysén, affected by the ISA virus-, that they could decree an immediate discussion after resolving the indications that will be checked at the end of July.

The minister announced the inclusion of an article that will allow the owners of current concessions to resign their indefinite right. According to the project, a period of 30 years is set for the new aquatic concessions, and its renovation can be managed eight years before expiring.
