Record breaking salmon price – lower volumes

Figures from Akvafakta shows a strong decrease in supply of salmon over the last weeks. Over the last four weeks, the decrease is 12,1% compared with 2012. In week 25 alone, the decrease was 20,5% compared with week 25 last year. So far this year, the salmon export from Norway is down 6,3% compared with the same period in 2012.

According to Akvafakta the consumption of fish feed has decreased by 17% so far this year, compared with 2012.
