Queues for Trondheim event
"It's highly unusual - to my knowledge, this has not happened before," the director of Trondheim Spektrum, Ola Eriksen, told kyst.no. "I'm very happy", he adds, "but there are now two hectic months ahead".
"We are on schedule and expecting more visitors than ever before," he says, adding that two extra halls will need to be erected in addition to the existing exhibition grounds, to accomodate the 500 or so exhibitors who have booked stands.
"In addition many exhibitors have wanted to take bigger spaces than normal. Where there has been space and opportunity, we have complied with such requests, but in some cases we have had to say no because of lack of space," says Eriksen.
Many nations
Interest from abroad is also higher than in previous AquaNor events, with exhibitors from 27 nations booked in to 80 international stands, while visitors from more than 80 countries are expected.
