Preview released for PHARMAQ event

The event is scheduled to take place on September 29and 30 at the Drumossie Hotel, near Inverness, and proceedings will begin at 12.30 on Monday 29 September with a buffet lunch, followed by a technical workshop focusing on AMX sampling and cleaner fish. In the evening there will be entertainment followed by dinner.

Confirmed topics for the technical workshop include; AMX sampling results; cleaner fish experiences; cleaner fish health; and cleaner fish vaccination

Confirmed topic for the conference, which takes place the next day, include: R&D projects at PHARMAQ; stress in fish; the Omega 3 and Omega 6 balance in regulating inflammation; non-specific immunity – with a focus on cytokines; Atlantic salmon immune response to AGD; amoeba and AGD studies at Marine Science Scotland.
