Poor start to the year for Chile

According to figures from the Central Bank of Chile, the country exported US$ 1,189.68 million in salmon products (Atlantic and coho salmon) up to April 2015. This is a decrease of US$ 183.54 million or 13.4 per cent compared to the first four months of 2014.

Meanwhile, Chilean exports of rainbow trout totalled US$ 153.13 million in the first four months of this year, representing a decrease of US$ 108.62 million or 41.5 per cent compared to the same period of 2014.
