Organizers confirmed realization of Aqua Sur 2010
Margarita Vergara, general manager of TechnoPress said that "fortunately all the conditions for the development of AQUA SUR 2010 fair are given, since there was no major damage on the fair premises nor on the access roads". Moreover, she stated that the most important services, such as water, electricity, telecommunications and hotel vacancy in Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas and other nearby areas are all running normally. Much different from what is occuring in other zones of the country. She also assured that the Tepual air terminal did not suffer any major damage and is operating without alterations.
In regard to the normalization of the operations at the Santiago airport, Arturo Merino Benítez, the executive said that it is well-known by the public that they are doing everything imaginable to normalize the air traffic, and that “everything indicates that it will be operating at its full capacity in a few more days” she concluded.
