Ocado to stock WildWaters Scottish Salmon

Published Modified

The varieties are: WildWaters Smoked Salmon ‘Pastrami’ 150g pack; Gravadlax ‘Limoncello’ 150g pack; Smoked Salmon triple pack 300g  (comprising Smoked Salmon varieties ‘Shandana’, ‘Caipirinha’ and ‘Orange Pepper’); Smoked Salmon ‘Organic’ Side –  360g to 560g; Smoked Salmon Side – 700g to 1100g; Fresh Salmon Loin (skinless) – 200g to 500g.

The gourmet selection has been created from salmon farmed in the pristine, wild waters of the Shetland islands. The innovative and exciting recipes were developed in-house using salmon that are reared, prepared, packaged and sold by the same business, with every stage of production carried out in these remote and beautiful Scottish islands. This means that within just 24 hours of harvest, the salmon fillets are hand-trimmed to produce fresh loins or enter the curing process to become Smoked Salmon or Gravadlax.

Managing director of Grieg Seafood Hjaltland, Michael Stark, said: “We are delighted that Ocado are stocking the WildWaters range. Their efficient online sales and extensive reach means that the product will now be more widely available across the UK.”

Lucy Fry, Senior Buyer from Ocado said: “It’s great to be able to add the WildWaters salmon to our range. The products are excellent quality at great value and also add an exciting twist to the category.”
