New sales manager in Troutlodge Chile

"For many years, Troutlodge and Quetro have operated largely independent from each other. However, we see great value in better integrating our operations, resources, and offerings and in combining our sales efforts. By combining these sales efforts under the leadership of Rodrigo, we hope to provide the Chilean salmonid industry with a broader range of products and services all under one umbrella," explains Andrew Barfoot, Director of Sales & Marketing at Troutlodge.

Mr. Torrijo, formerly the Freshwater Sales Manager in Chile for Skretting, will be responsible for sales of Troutlodge and Quetro products and services within Chile, as well as Troutlodge products in the developing markets of Argentina and Brazil. In addition, he will serve as the Government Relations manager in Chile for the two companies.

Regarding his approach to this new role, Mr. Torrijo explains, "The continuous improvement of the genetic material is a key factor to the success of any animal industry and it requires a long term view and a joint work approach. This is exactly the kind of partnership we want to offer to the Chilean salmon industry in order to contribute to the development of a sustainable business."
