New managing director of BU Skretting Northern Europe & Australia

 Halseth was previously the managing director of BG Skretting Trout & Marine.

He has worked in Skretting for 25 years and has held several senior positions including managing director of Skretting ARC from 1999 to 2007, executive vice president and marketing director for Skretting Norway combined with marketing director Skretting worldwide and product manager and technical salesman for Skretting Norway.

This long experience and broad expertise within feed and industrial fish farming gives Viggo Halseth a unique position globally.

Halseth holds a Cand. Agric. degree from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.

Halseth succeeded Knut Nesse who was recently appointed Executive Vice President and a member of Nutreco’s Executive Board where he is responsible for Nutreco’s aquaculture division.
