NTS ASA, until May this year called Namsos Trafikk Selskap ASA, achieved an EBIT of 50.4 million NOK and revenues of 322 million NOK last year. The majority of this comes from the Norsk Fisketransport AS, which had a turnover of 298 million NOK and an EBIT of NOK 52.4 million.

The CFO of the company, Håvard Selnes, told Norsk Fiskeoppdrett/kyst.no that Norsk Fisketransport AS and Norsk Fisketransport Holding AS are under reorganization, and that Dønna Brønnbåtservice AS and Nova Trans AS and 10-15 subsidiaries are included in this process.

Clearly dramatic changes are afoot at NTS ASA. Recently NTS bought the rest of the outstanding shares of Norsk Fisketransport AS. For 90 million they got control of the last 31.2 per cent of the shares, and the company now owns 100 per cent. At the extraordinary general meeting last week, shareholders approved a rights issue worth NOK 50 million, which is intended to fund the acquisition of Norsk Fisketransport AS. Moreover, a share split of 1:10 was enacted to make the stock more marketable.
