New diet with diflubenzuron
According to the general manager of the company José Miguel Barriga “this new diet is a powerful tool at a very competitive price for the current requirements. It is also a tool to support conventional treatments since it will be produced with diflubenzuron, a new alternative within the products that Salmofood already has in its portfolio”.
After it received its license for use, this would be the second in-feed treatment containing diflubenzuron as active ingredient authorized in the country against the ectoparasitic copepod that affects the local salmon industry, Caligus rogercresseyi.
