Christian Pérez According to the company, the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) informed that the ISA virus was found in samplings from 3 cages of the farming site "Izaza", belonging to Camanchaca. The company has already presented a harvesting plan to be implemented within the next 10 days. The farming site "Izaza" is located in the Region of Aysén, in the same neighborhood than the farming site "King", one of the two sites confirmed with ISA virus last month. "Izaza" is currently stocked with 901,000 salmon close to harvest size (3.7-4.0 Kg) while there are 120,000 fish in the three affected cages. In the next days, genetic sequencing will determinate the strain of the virus detected. However, laboratory analysis have already confirmed that it is not HPR 0 (non pathogenic strain).
