Mitsubishi to harvest 107,000 tonnes in Chile
According to a report recently published by Cermaq, its harvest volumes for the year are likely to be roughly 80,000 tonnes from Cermaq Chile, 27,000 tonnes from Salmones Humboldt, 19,000 tonnes from Cermaq Canada and 51,000 tonnes from Cermaq Norway.
When added to Mitsubishi's planned processing and marketing results in Asia (~ 50,000 tonnes), this would equate to a total figure close to 219,000 tonnes this year. Mitsubishi is also set to benefit from access to an extensive sales network for salmon and seafood, especially in Asia.
