Minister is cautious about merger

According to the Diario Financiero, Mr Súnico added that, despite initiating an investigation by the National Economic Prosecutor, the merger does not alter the government's aims to achieve long-term, commercial and sanitary sustainability, in the industry.   When asked if this operation restricts or increases competition within the industry, he replied that “it is something that will have to be assessed at the appropriate moment.”
