Lerøy Seafood Group reports lower harvesting volumes in Q4, while developments vary between regions.

Lerøy harvested less in Q4

The salmonid farmer has presented updated harvesting figures for the fourth quarter and full year 2025. The figures show clear differences between the company's regions in Norway.

Lerøy Seafood Group harvested a total of 49,300 gutted weight tonnes of salmon and trout in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to a stock exchange release from the company. The corresponding volume in the fourth quarter of 2024 was 56,800 gwt.

For the whole of 2025, the harvest volume ended at 195,600 gwt, up from 171,200 gwt the previous year. The figures do not include volumes from Scottish Sea Farms, which Lerøy owns 50-50 with SalMar.

Large regional differences

The distribution between Lerøy's aquaculture regions in the fourth quarter shows clear variations:

  • Lerøy Aurora (northern Norway) harvested 16,400 gwt, up from 15,400 gwt in the same quarter the previous year.

  • Lerøy Midt (central Norway) had a harvest volume of 16,200 gwt, down from 22,600 gwt in Q4 2024.

  • Lerøy Sjøtroll (southern Norway) harvested 16,800 gwt, of which 7,900 gwt were trout. The previous year, the region harvested 18,800 gwt, including 8,200 gwt of trout.
