Gael Force boss helps lay the ground for Iceland conference

Stewart Graham, owner of Scottish salmon sector supplier Gael Force Group, will take part in a webinar about sustainable growth in aquaculture tomorrow.

Graham and other experts will highlight how aquaculture is supporting sustainable growth through innovation, efficiency, and better resource use across the value chain. Speakers will also discuss key developments in feed, farming technologies, environmental performance, and commercial resilience.

The free webinar at 11.30 BST is being held to preview the Aquaculture – Driving Sustainable Growth Conference, due to take place in Iceland on September 22 alongside IceFish 2026.

Ólöf Helga Jónsdóttir, chief people officer at Icelandic salmon farmer Kaldvik, will moderate tomorrow's webinar.

The conference will bring together operators, innovators and policymakers to discuss sustainable production practices and the technologies shaping the sector’s future.

Along with Gael Force’s Graham, the panel for tomorrow’s webinar features Ólöf Helga Jónsdóttir, chief people officer at Icelandic salmon farmer Kaldvik; Jan Eric Haagensen, senior director of Scandinavia at nanobubble generation company Molear; Nils Rabe, global sales director at processing machinery maker Baader; and Sigurður Trausti Karvelsson, R&D project manager at Iceladic land-based salmon farmer First Water. Jónsdóttir will moderate the event.
