Young's Seafood recalls product
According to the Food Standards Agency, the company had to recall a batch of its Jumbo Seafood Sticks, because some packs had not been sealed satisfactorily, which could have allowed for microbiological contamination. The affected Seafood Sticks were those with a Use By Date of 23-05-15.
Young's Seafood said: "We apologise to retailers and our customers for any inconvenience caused by this voluntary recall. The safety and quality of our products is highly important to us and we take all issues regarding the production and packaging of our food extremely seriously."
The recall did not affect any other Young's products.
