Yadrán is almost ready to go public
Yadrán intends to harvest 2 000 tonnes this year followed by continuous increases in production results. Within this path, Yadrán expects to harvest 27 000 tonnes by 2020. In the short term, the company expects to sow two farming sites with Rainbow trout within this month and one site with Atlantic salmon in April.
Regarding its intentions to go public, the company registered itself recently requested its inscription in the Chilean Securities and Insurance Supervisor. The company also explained that its financial projections show positive figures by the year 2012, which would allow them to amortize the programmed financial debt.
Yadrán is also implementing several measures to avoid sanitary risks in this growth plan, such as controls in: the entrance of personnel; transport; reception of smolts; handlings of mortalities; handlings of harvest; disinfection of equipment; and treatment and prevention of sea lice.
