Vaccination of salmon in 2014 sets off as in 2013

According to key figures from Pharmaq, the total sales of vaccines to salmon in January 2014 were 26.7 million vaccine doses, just the same as in January 2013. Accumulated sales to the S1s 2014 are estimated to 138.0 million vaccine doses when 21.8 million doses in September 2013 are calculated as vaccination of S1s 2014 (source: Kontali analyse). This is just 1.0 million doses behind last year's S1 2013 generation in the same period with its 139.0 million vaccine doses. Vaccine sales to trout in January were 1.3 million doses compared to 2.0 million doses in January 2013. Further, it was ordered 7.4 million doses of the PD-vaccine in January 2014 up from 6.5 million doses in January 2013.
