Thieves net farmed salmon worth £60,000
Northern Constabulary told BBC News that 150 breeding salmon, worth up to £60,000, were taken from Loch Laxford, near Scourie, between 20 April and 14 May. The discovery was made recently and reported to police this week, the news source wrote. The fish were owned by a company who have holding nets in the loch. Anyone offered salmon from an unknown source was asked to contact police.
