According to some figures submitted by the National Customs Service, the salmon industry exported 109.5 million from the 10th Region in November and counted for 54% of that region’s exports in the period (USD 199 million).

Moreover, this territory represents 81% of the Chilean salmon exports; while the 11th Region (Aysén) counts for 15% of those sales; the VIII Region (Bío Bío) represents 3%; and the 12th Region (Magallanes) stands for the remaining 1%.

In terms of markets, the main trade partners for the 10th Region are still Japan (47% of the exports) and USA (15%).
