Slight price increase in the US

However, it is 23.4 per cent lower than the price observed in the same week of 2014 (US$ 5.35) and 7.6 per cent higher than that seen in the same week of 2013 (US$ 3.81). According to the weekly report published by SalmonEx, the Brazilian market price experienced a slight decrease. The size 10-12lb (~4.5-5.4kg), being the most representative, reached US$ 5.05/kg, 2 cents lower than the previous week price. In the Japanese market, the price of coho salmon went up ¥ 10 while the price of trout had a drop of ¥ 40. The first reached ¥ 770 (US$ ~6.52)/kg, while the second species fell to ¥ 625 (US$ ~5.29)/kg. *C+F: cost and freight.
