Slight increase in salmon stock prices
Within the past 30 days, the share prices of these companies have experienced changes as follows: Empresas AquaChile (+4,2%) from US$ 0.77 to US$ 0.80; Australis Seafoods (-7,4%), from US$ 0.29 to US$ 0.27; Invertec Pesquera del Mar de Chiloé (+21.7%), from US$ 0.27 to US$ 0.33; and Salmones Multiexport (+5,6%), from US$ 0.28 to US$ 0.29. Since Empresas AquaChile represents a 58.13% in this index, its variations have a stronger impact.
Meanwhile, the “Salmon Index” in the Santiago Stock Exchange (SSE) has increased 3.4% in the past 30 days, from 4,081 points to 4,296 points. This index was created in August 2011 and shows the share price behavior of those salmon producing companies registered in the SSE.
