Scottish aquaculture supplier development programme

In conjunction with Levercliff, this programme has been specifically designed to provide companies from the Scottish aquaculture industry with support to fully exploit areas of potential development with the aim of securing incremental sales and sustainable profitability.

The programme will include: five workshops with guest speakers from within the industry; a London Study Tour - an intensive and informative day exploring everything about the UK Seafood consumer meeting with key industry players; robust marketing plans identifying what to produce and who to sell to for maximum profit; mentoring with hands-on support delivered via eight one-to-one sessions; and trade development – an opportunity to meet with key buyers whether multiple, local or specialist retail or wholesale & foodservice

The programme commences in June 2011 and will continue through until March 2012.
