Together with an increased production capacity, the company has included machinery intended for processing new value added products.

According to the information provided by the company to the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA), this project had a cost around US$ 5 million.

Among other modifications, Yadrán has implemented all the equipment required to perform 'live harvest' and therefore process any fish delivered directly from wellboats to the processing plant, which allows the company to process fish from farming sites under quarantine due to ISA virus or when the pre-harvest holding pen of the company is under its sanitary fallowing period.

Salmones Yadrán was the 21st largest Chilean salmon exporter in the first half-year with returns of US$ 33.7 million within the first six months of this year.
