SalmonChile to support volcano victims
In the meeting, the minister outlined the main areas being addressed by the government, such as bonuses and subsidies that are being gradually delivered to the affected communities.
SalmonChile welcomed the government's efforts to help the salmon producing companies affected by the eruption.
Felipe Manterola said to the minister that: "As private sector we want to collaborate, be practical and effective in those actions that the state cannot do, to avoid duplication of tasks. We are here today, along with several of our partners, to express our support for the communities, workers and neighbors affected".
In turn, Céspedes promised to develop a work plan to address in the best possible way the various solutions and to channel those resources both from the state and the private sector.
