Salmon soar while trout flounder

The value of these exports was NOK 3,300,000,000, up 2% on the previous year, according to figures released by Akvafakta today.

Trout exports were 3,400 tonnes, from a total biomass of 39,000 tonnes. There were worth NOK 140,000,000 – a decrease of 22% in volume and 27% in value.

The average sea water temperature was 5.6°C, up 0.2% on last February.
