Salmon share prices went up in Chile
AquaChile represents 63.41 percent of the salmon index. The company had a share price of $ 343.94 (US$ 0.715) last Wednesday, October 31st, representing a 5.7 percent increase compared to the $ 325.45 (US$ 0.677) it had by the end of September.
Multiexport represents 25.54 percent in this index and with a share price of $ 116.75 (US$ 0.243) last Wednesday, the company recorded a 13.8 percent increase compared to the $ 102.62 (US$ 0.213) obtained in September 28th, 2012.
Australis represents a 6.21 percent of the Salmon Index. The company had a share price of $ 69.50 (US$ 0.145) last Wednesday, October 31st, which shows a 6.1 percent increase compared to the $ 65.50 (US$ 0.136) posted by this share in the end of the previous month.
Finally, Invermar (Invertec Pesquera del Mar de Chiloé) represents 4.85 percent of the index. The company had a share price of $ 76.72 (US$ 0.212) last Wednesday, representing a 7.4 percent decrease compared to the $ 82.90 (US$ 0.172) obtained in September 28th. This was the only salmon producing company experiencing a price setback during the past month.
