However, it is 17.3 per cent lower than the price observed in the same week of 2013 (US$ 4.86) and 14.5 per cent higher than that seen in the same week of 2012 (US$ 3.51). According to the weekly report published by SalmonEx, the Brazilian market price remained unchanged. Fish in the 10-12lb (~4.5-5.4kg) range sold for US$ 4.69/kg, the same price as the previous week.
