Salmon firm creates new jobs

The company hopes to start production in the town today, after starting work on its new premises on the Station Industrial Park . The smokehouse is transferring its existing 15 staff to its new base and has recruited between 15 and 18 new staff from the Annan area. News of the jobs will come as a welcome boost to Annan’s food industry, after about 100 jobs were lost at the Young’s Seafood factory earlier this year.
