Salmon companies renegotiate loans
According to the financial consulting company and security broker dealers EuroAmerica, one of those covenants to be renegotiated is related to some restrictions to the payment of dividends to shareholders.
Meanwhile, the Chilean Securities and Insurance Supervisor or SVS asked for some production details which some companies have refused to provide, since they consider that information to be strategic and confidential.
In response, these salmon producing companies have proposed the creation of a working table in order to standardize the delivery of financial information and define leverage ratios.
According to the financial journal Diario Financiero, some of these companies are AquaChile, Invertec Pesquera Mar de Chiloe (Invermar), Cultivos Marinos Chiloé, Multiexport, Salmones Camanchaca and Australis Seafoods.
