Record breaking vaccination in August

- This shows that vaccination of S 0 2010 is back on track after a low July month. For the period June through August 2010 we calculate that 104 million salmon will be vaccinated. Compared to the same period in 2009 100 million salmon were vaccinated, reports Pharmaq in their newsletter. The S0 release in 2009 was estimated to 118.5 million smolt.The sales of vaccine doses against pancreas disease in August were 17.3 million doses compared to 13.3 million doses in August 2009. The 12 month rolling value shows an annual turnover of 91 million PD-vaccine doses.There were no sales of vaccines for farmed cod in August and the log term trend is continuing downwards to a level of 5.7 million doses annually.
