Record breaking seafood export from Norway

So far in 2009 the export value of the seafood from Norway is 14 billion NOK, an increase of 14% compared with the same periode last year. The Norwegian Seafood Export Council explain the increased demand for Norwegian seafood as mainly driven by increased demand for salmon in the US market, France and Poland. Salmon and trout represent 6,7 billion NOK of the total export value.
