Professionals move to other activities
The crisis affecting Chilean salmon farming industry leads to reduce production and jobs during last years. On that way, the human resources consulting company Trabajando.com carried on a study appointing more than 60% of professional force have moved from salmon farming industry into other activities during last three years; with a 30-40% salary reduction. The research was made over 900 persons looking for a new job on this consulting company. About 40% of them doesn't have a job, as a 30% is still working but are beginning to look for new opportunities.
