The regional director of SEA, Alfredo Wendt, highlighted several investments related to the local salmon industry, including the merger and relocation of salmon farming sites in Bahia Corcovado and Morrillo, both belonging to Ventisqueros, in the Chaiten area, for more than US$ 4.2 million each, and a processing plant belonging to Tornagaleones Marina Farm in Quellón.

The executive also said that the total project requests represent investments of US$ 122,725,400, according to the local newspaper El Llanquihue.
