Pablo Galilea will be Under-secretary of Fisheries
According to El Mercurio, Pablo Galilea (47) has a commercial engineering degree from the Austral of Chile University. He represents the Renovación Nacional party (centre-right wing) and was elected deputy for Aysén (11th Region) in 1998 and subsequently reelected for another two periods.
Galilea has voted in favour of the modifications to the General Law on Fisheries and Aquaculture, legislative bill considered as a keystone to the local salmon industry.
