Open ocean pens go on show

Scottish fish farm equipment specialist Fusion Marine has launched a fly-through film clip of its Triton pen system.

The animated video (which can be viewed at www.fusionmarine.com) provides stunning visuals of the Triton 400/450 system both above and under the sea. It highlights the tough construction of the large diameter Triton pens, which have been developed to meet the demanding conditions found in high energy open sea fish farming locations. Fusion Marine utilises the latest Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology in the design and construction of its aquaculture systems.

The video, which was launched at the recent Aquaculture UK 2014 show in Aviemore, was produced for presentational, educational and training purposes so as to give the wider public an insight into the complex engineering processes involved in the design and construction of a conventional fish farm, both above and below the water.
