Officially a great workplace

Christian Pérez Ewos Chile is in the 13th position this year among the 50 best Chilean workplaces* according to the ranking produced by the Great Place to Work Institute, which analysed over 200 companies.  "We are very glad of this recognition, which reflects all the hard work we have been doing for so many years. The gratifying working environment we perceive everyday together with this kind of recognitions demonstrate that we are on the right path. It is also a very good sign that a company belonging to fish farming is present in this kind of rankings. We are sure that this is the path through which we want to continue," said Andrés Tagle, general manager of Ewos Chile. "We are very pleased by this recognition. People are an inspiration for Ewos and we are well aware that they are the engine that drives this company every day, so feeling that they are happy with the place we have and where we all work is a huge joy. It is also a very good sign that a productive enterprise -linked to aquaculture and regions like us - is present in these initiatives" said Andrés Tagle, general manager of the company. Ewos Chile has nearly 400 employees, located in the regions of Bío Bío, Los Lagos, Aysén and Magallanes. *Companies nominated for Best Companies to Work For must go through an application process and are selected and ranked predominantly on the basis of employees’ response to the Trust Index© Survey (2/3s of the score) which measures employee perception of the workplace. The Culture Audit, completed by management and evaluated by an independent Great Place to Work team, accounts for approximately 1/3 of the total score. Companies receiving high scores on these assessments appear on the lists; and the highest scores enjoy the highest rankings on those lists.
