Ocea and Seafarm Systems enters strategic partnership
The CEO of Seafarm Systems Norway, Karsten Himmelstrup, recognized that: “The growing number of the MIC net cleaning machine meant that our company needed to have a better support service”. Working with the CEO of MIC Pty Ltd, Fritz Shoemaker it was decided that Seafarm Systems Australia and MIC Pty Ltd would benefit from the comprehensive sales and service network that Ocea has in place in the North Sea Basin and Chile. Additionally Mr Shoemaker added that the parent company has “established a new and advanced rotomolding facility in Turkey producing plastic cages that Ocea’s customers will benefit from.”
"The MIC net clean system offers some unique features as combined inspection and cleaning system that actually transports the removed material away from the cage enabling the fish to eat while the cage is cleaned ” says Bjorn Arve Ofstad CEO in Ocea. "This cooperation adds some very interesting products to work with and opens up an interesting market for us".
