Arena Aquacultur AS and Ørsta Aqua SystemsAS are well established after a successfull merger, and now, under a new name and with great growth in orders, make substansial investments in Norwegian aquaculture technology. - Expension is neccessary if Ocea AS is to make an impact both nationally and internationally, says General Manager Mons-Ove Hauge. Ocea AS has established main offices in Austevoll, as well as branch offices in the most important aquaculture markeds. General Manager Mons-Ove Hauge says that the company will work towards becoming a major and complete supplier of equipment and services to the aquaculture industry. Great growth With orders on the increase and rapid growth we are now in a process phase where we are ready to consolidate with several other equipment suppliers. Ocea AS will in the future supply feeding barges, cages, feeding systems, process systems and other aquaculture technology products domestically and abroad. Products previously sold under such names as Viking, Procean og Arena are now collected under the new name Ocea . We are now building a brand name that represents the highest quality in aquaculture technology, in accordance with the company's strategy, says Mons-Ove Hauge. At the main offices at Austevoll plans are being laid. Ocea AS will become a complete warehouse for tomorrow's aquaculture. Ocea AS will invest in product development, and will exhibit several new items at this atumn's AquaNor exhibition. - We have great expectations concerning our new innovative products, such as the next generation of feeding system, surveilance and 400 tonnes feeding barges, informs Mons-Ove Hauge.
