Norwegian salmon export up 31%

According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Export Council (NESC) the export value of salmon totalled at 8,7 billion NOK in Q1 in 2010. Up 2 billion NOK compared to Q1 in 2009. The average price for salmon in April 2010 was 38,88 NOK/kg, compared to 31,98 NOK/kg in April 2009. France, Poland and Russia are the biggest markets for Norwegian salmon.
