New record for salmon export

Average salmon price the first half year in 2010 was NOK 36,15 compared to NOK 31,70 in the first half year of 2009. The export volume totalled at 279 000 tons this year compared to 255 000 tons the same periode last year. France and Poland are the main importers of Norwegian salmon, reports the Norwegian Seafood Export Council.
