New Acuinova freshwater site is 60 percent complete
This construction process is projected to be finished by the end of 2012, the local newspaper Diario de Aysén reports.
Meanwhile, the company expects to produce a biomass of 1,200 tonnes of salmon fry and smolts per year in this site.
This facility implies two different sanitary units: one centered on the production of salmon fry, with a recirculating water system; and another just focused on the production of smolts, with a flow-through system.
