Mr Piotr Kapinos appointed as a new CFO of Morpol ASA

Mr. Kapinos has several years of experience in financial management and comes from the position of the CFO of Iglotex S.A., a major Polish producer and distributor of frozen foods. During his time as CFO in Iglotex S.A., Mr Kapinos was involved in key projects such as the merger and integration of Iglotex, Iglokrak and LMJ Groups, creating a group with a consolidated revenue of EUR 250 million.

In the period 2009-2011 Mr. Kapinos held the position of the Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of Wilbo S.A., a major Polish producer and distributor of seafood and seafood products. Wilbo S.A. is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and has an annual turnover of approximately EUR 40 million. During that time he was the project leader in the acquisition of a new business (Proryb Sp. Z o.o.) followed by the post-merger integration and restructuring of the entity.

Prior to this Mr Kapinos worked as CFO of the VTS Group S.A and as a consultant in the assurance and advisory business service department of Ernst&Young in Mannheim, Germany.

Mr Kapinos has an extensive knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS/IAS). He holds a Master's Degree from the Warsaw School of Economics and an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He fluently speaks English and German.
