Moving out of Norway

The Norwegian Seafood Companies Association (NSL) are complaining the politicians for theisr double communication. Some of them criticise the seafood industry for not doing enough to keep the value added production (VAP) in Norway. At the same time they are creating conditions which is to the bad for the industry. Like high taxes, and high cost in general, says the statement form NSL.

The VAP production is first of all moving to Poland, the Baltic countries and to Denmark.

- The politicians have to take the responsibility for this development, says NSL-director Håvard Jørgensen.
