More listeria cases at Loch Duart

Published Modified

Salmon farming company Loch Duart has recalled a further two batches of its Oak Roasted Flaky Salmon, because Listeria monocytogenes has been detected in them and may pose a health risk, the Food Standard Agency reported at the end of last week.

In the past month and a half, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued four separate alerts of listeria contamination in smoked salmon produced by the firm, which is feted by celebrity chefs such as Rick Stein and Raymond Blanc.
