More difficulties between AquaChile and its banks

The company presented a preventive agreement to avoid their own bankruptcy.

Some of the reasons that might have provoked this situation are that the banks removed some points from the agreement. However some reports said the company's president, Víctor Hugo Puchi, requested additional conditions like new financial demands. The business man said to El Mercurio that "the banks are taking advantage of a weak industry".

The fail of the negotiations was not foreseen and some of the top executives from the banking were sure that an agreement would be achieved.

Executives from AquaChile would have met several banks to obtain the necessary support of the creditors. Despite this difficult situation, in AquaChile are entrusted they will achieve an agreement.

The negotiations continue developing this week.
