Kaldvik lowers its harvest guidance for 2025 once again after a difficult quarter

Published

Icelandic aquaculture company Kaldvik has once again reduced its harvest forecast for 2025 after a challenging quarter.

Last year, Kaldvik guided for 25,000 gutted weight tonnes in 2025, but reduced that in January to 21,500 gwt because of mortalities caused by winter wounds. The guidance was lowered again to 18,000 gwt in Q2.

In its third quarter report released today, harvest target for 2025 had dropped to 17,000 gwt. That is also the harvest target for next year.
