AKVA tightens the Knut
Aquaculture supplier AKVA Group has appointed Knut Nesse as chief executive on a permanent basis, it said today.
Nesse joined the Norwegian company’s board of directors in May and served as the chairperson from August 16 until he was appointed as interim chief executive on November 4 following the resignation of Hallvard Muri.
Nesse is a former chief executive of feed manufacturers Skretting and Nutreco.
AKVA, headquartered in Bryne, Norway, has a Scottish base in Inverness and others in Chile, Denmark, Spain, Greece, Iran, Iceland, Canada, Australia and Turkey.
