Processsor prepares for salmon showdown

Marel has announced that its 16th Salmon ShowHow will take place in Copenhagen on February 8.

The event is dedicated entirely to the salmon processing industry and has become the place where salmon industry leaders meet to discuss the latest trends and hear guest speakers address some of the key issues facing the industry. In 2015, the event attracted around 300 visitors, representing 150 companies from 30 countries.

Participants can experience Marel’s equipment in a simulated processing plant environment as they seek to uphold food safety, increase yield, and improve the utilization of raw materials.

The event is being held at the Icelandic firm’s state-of-the-art demonstration facility, Progress Point, just 5 minutes from Copenhagen Airport, where there will be ongoing demonstrations throughout the day of both stand-alone machines and integrated processing systems. The programme will conclude with dinner and entertainment in the evening.
